What is a Bull Bar?

A bull bar (also known as a push bar or nudge bar) is a metal device that is fitted to the front of a vehicle to protect it from damage in a collision. Bull bars can also be used as a way to "push" or "nudge" objects, animals, and annoying pedestrians out of your way.

Bull bars have come a long way from when they were first developed. Originally, as you can probably gather by the name, bull bars were used by farmers and cattlemen to help guide their herds. And while still used in that fashion, most of us will probably use them for something slightly different. In fact, many people simply like the looks and style offered by bull bars. Bull bars are available in stainless, chrome, and black powder-coated finishes. Most come with pre-drilled holes for mounting off-road lights, and some, not most, are available with winch mounts. *Just be sure to ask if that is available.  And because of the high-grade steel and the integrated skid plates offered on many bull bars, they can provide unsurpassed protection for your front end.
